In life there is a certain amount of things you should have done, but there is also a certain amount of things you should have eaten. Among those things are the Pierre Marcolini macarons.
One of the most beautiful areas in Brussels is for sure the ‘Zavel’. Vintage shops with Chanel and Delvaux, colourful design shops, some of the best coffee shops, extraordinary designer shops and not one but two Pierre Marcolini ‘chocolatiers’. If you come to Brussels, it’s a must to visit the Zavel ‘quartier’.
How to get their? Simple take the subway or tram to ‘Louise’, cross the ‘Avenue de Waterloo’ so you’re on the ‘Place Poelaart’ and go right once you have an incredible view over Brussels. … At least if you get there, because ‘Avenue de Waterloo’ might distract you from your goal. Distract how? Armani, Prada, Chanel, Dior, Salvatore Ferragamo… just to name a few.
Yes, there are many reasons why I never want to leave my absolutely-amazing but oh-so-underestimated Brussels.
